Looking for real premium gas?

We are always on the hunt.  If you have verified any stations with proper premium without ethanol, please drop us a note!

In Iowa, only Jim Lind, in Waterloo, is committed to bringing proper premium to performance car lovers.

If you’re near Lind’s Shell, 230 East Ridgeway Avenue in Waterloo, you are in good shape. The phone there is (319) 235-0457.  Lind’s is the only source we know about in Iowa for 93 octane without ethanol.

As of December 2013, many BP and Phillips 66 in eastern Iowa are switching to all ethanol.  In Iowa, state inspectors will put a white label with green lettering on ethanol grades.

In the Quad Cities, Dittmer’s Shell on West Locust still has 91 without ethanol, as well as 87 for small engines.

We have discussed this with Weissach and PCA technical experts, and they all agree on staying with pure gasoline.
