Whether you’re here because you bought your first Porsche or otherwise new to the Porsche Club of America (PCA), we’re happy to have you join the Central Iowa Region!

Our Central Iowa Region officially includes approximately 260 members and co-members from 38 counties in eastern Iowa (see list below), plus a number of active members from western Illinois. The Central Iowa Region is part of PCA Zone 10, which includes clubs in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, North and South Dakota, and Manitoba, Canada.

NOTE: Central Iowa Region’s title might be confusing given our eastern Iowa boundaries. It’s a long story but our PCA neighbors in the middle of Iowa (42 central Iowa counties, including the city of Des Moines) call themselves Schonesland Region. If you’re new to PCA and uncertain which of the two regions is best for you, see our “Join Us” section for more details.

ZONE 10

The Central Iowa Region is part of PCA Zone 10, which includes clubs in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, North and South Dakota, and Manitoba, Canada. In all, the Porsche Club of America is divided into 145 regions in the U.S. and Canada.

History

The Central Iowa Region’s original charter dates to Nov. 28, 1961. However, after a period of inactivity in 1967 and 1968, the Region was rechartered on July 22, 1969. This is regarded by the Porsche Club of America as the club’s official charter date.

The historic village of Amana, one of the seven villages in the Amana Colonies*, is unofficially treated as the Region’s “home base.”

The pride in Porsche ownership continues into the present. As PCA says, it’s not just the cars that bind us together, it’s the people.

* In celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2019, Amana was the natural choice.

50th Anniversary 2019!
